Captain Atris has been fishing the waters of Lake Erie since the age of 13 when his parents purchased their first boat. It was a 18' tri-hull that was less than ideal for "Lady Erie". The boat seemed to spend more time in the shop than in the water. This didn't stop his love for fishing. Early on he learned how to catch crappie on the portage river from an old timer in his camp ground. He would get up at the crack of dawn to "hit the docks" to catch a mess of crappie before going out on the family boat for walleye or perch. When he returned from the lake he would barely take a moment to eat before catching the evening bite up and down the Portage.

Even while completing his engineering degree at The University of Dayton, Atris would make time on the weekends and summer break to pursue his love of fishing. After graduating, Atris was hired by a large technology company in the Chicago area. He packed up his family and moved to the hustle and bustle of the "Windy City". The 6 hour trip still would not get in the way of making a few trips a year to unwind and fish.
After 17 years in Illinois, Atris felt it was time to return back home to Ohio. He quickly returned to his first love of fishing and purchased his first boat in 2015. Fast forward to 2021, Atris is firm believer of always reinventing himself and not getting complacent when it comes to personal endeavors. He wanted to share his love of fishing with others so he decided to pursue his dream of being a charter captain. In 2022 he completed his certification for his US Coast Guard Master Captain's License.

The Tracker
Purchased new in 2019, The Tracker has been a walleye assassin! Don't let her size fool you. She can accommodate 4 passengers (3 + Captain) and can go anywhere the big boys go. She is equipped with all of the necessary US Coast Guard mandated safety gear and gets inspected by the state at the start of every season. She is equipped with a 150 HP main motor, a 15 HP kicker motor for trolling, and remote controlled trolling motor. The Tracker is a trailerable boat so she can go where the fish are biting. We use her for 2 and 3 man walleye trips as well as perch and catfish trips.
Coming Soon: "Dark Vader"
We a pleased to announce that we recently placed an order for a 2022 Hewescraft Pro V 200. This will allow us to take larger groups out but still allow us to move around Lake Erie. We chose Hewescraft because they make a strong boat that will handle the big water of Lake Erie. We will commit to a name when she arrives. Right now were milling over "Dark Vader because the Hewescraft hard top reminds us of Darth Vader's helmet. We ordered it with a dark smoke gray color scheme which gave us the name of "Dark Vader". With the supply chain issues, she should arrive around August of 2022.
